Survey of our natural resources and the conservation
of those uncaptured natural stores which are useful to
humankind. Resources covered are water, soil, air, forests,

FORE B4 Wildlife Law Enforcement (3 units)
A brief history of the development of wildlife law enforcement.
State functions and jurisdiction; federal jurisdiction, federal
wildlife laws, federal versus state jurisdiction; rights of the
private citizen. Types of violations and the role of the law
enforcement officer. The function of the officer, including
arrests, preparation of evidence, interviewing and court

A survey of game birds, fish and mammals of California and

Covers the physical theories of wildland fire, the methodology
of wildland fire suppression, pre-suppression, and post-fire
